Alpha Delta Nu Nursing Honor Society- Tau Chapter

I am honored to have been selected for the Alpha Delta Nu Nursing Honor Society, Tau Chapter, a distinction awarded to students who maintain a 3.0 GPA or higher both overall and in all nursing coursework. This achievement represents the dedication, resilience, and passion I brought to my nursing education. I was also elected to serve as the secretary of our chapter, a role that allowed me to support our group’s communication, planning, and collaboration throughout the honor society project.

As part of my membership, I worked closely with the other members to create a capstone project centered on heart awareness. Together, we developed an educational initiative designed to help the community better understand the signs and symptoms of heart attacks, the importance of early intervention, and ways to reduce personal risk factors. We will present our project at Cecil College’s Open House, allowing us to share this important information with students, families, and the broader community.

I will be formally inducted into the honor society at my nursing pinning ceremony in May, a moment I am deeply grateful for and excited to celebrate.
